“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble….The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.” ~Psalm 46:1 & 11 NIV)
Life has a way beckoning our attention. It is often through the unexpected that we gain the resurrection of strength, courage & a profound ability to become more than we could have possibly imagined.
Through the challenge – life & purpose becomes evident. There’s always more than meets the eye taking its timely place.
Are you permitting the unexpected to bless you?
You’re always welcome to share your insights & wisdom. Speak life, think well…believe. ~Storm

SistaStrings instrumental piece of “Strange Fruit” , continues in the heart-tugging delivery of a song that sheds light on the senseless brutality of humanity on humanity.
Southern trees bear a strange fruit
Blood on the leaves and blood at the root
Black bodies swingin’ in the Southern breeze
Strange fruit hangin’ from the poplar trees
Pastoral scene of the gallant South
The bulgin’ eyes and the twisted mouth
Scent of magnolias sweet and fresh
Then the sudden smell of burnin’ flesh
Here is a fruit for the crows to pluck
For the rain to gather, for the wind to suck
For the sun to rot, for the tree to drop
Here is a strange and bitter crop
While I can bring much emphasis to the song itself – I would rather focus on SistaStrings. SistaStrings ~Monique & Chauntee Ross~ present a special blend of refined elegance to practically anything they collaborate on. You can feel their music. I’d like to think that their contemporaries – Karen Briggs and Yo Yo Ma would be proud.
Bred in classical training, the sisters are rising stars! Having graced Carnegie Hall, The Milwaukee Symphony, Fred Hammond, Virtue, Michael Buble, and more – SistaStrings are a unique addition to the music scene.
