“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions.” ~Rainer Maria Rilke
I encourage patience as though I have it mastered – I don’t. But I do know of her benefits, as life continues to put me in places where I’ve chosen to engage her company. Of course, I could resist. But why? Resistance will not make things happen any faster, it only causes frustration.
Patience is a kindred spirit, attempting to deliver a message of peaceful resolve. Meaning that when we are without answer, we surrender…quietening anxiety’s rush.
Patience is a virtue, a fruit of the spirit that equips us (if we let it) for daily living. Patience encourages us to slow down & to re-evaluate the situation (whatever that might be per individual).
Patience does not promote hopelessness. Patience PREPARES us for a life of vision & teaches us to honor its process.
Patience beckons our attention. What are you learning through patience?
Thank you for visiting Life Through The Storm. Wishing you balance & well-being. ~Storm
