A Little More Patience…

“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions.” ~Rainer Maria Rilke

I encourage patience as though I have it mastered – I don’t. But I do know of her benefits, as life continues to put me in places where I’ve chosen to engage her company. Of course, I could resist. But why? Resistance will not make things happen any faster, it only causes frustration.

Patience is a kindred spirit, attempting to deliver a message of peaceful resolve. Meaning that when we are without answer, we surrender…quietening anxiety’s rush.

Patience is a virtue, a fruit of the spirit that equips us (if we let it) for daily living. Patience encourages us to slow down & to re-evaluate the situation (whatever that might be per individual).

Patience does not promote hopelessness. Patience PREPARES us for a life of vision & teaches us to honor its process.

Patience beckons our attention. What are you learning through patience?

Thank you for visiting Life Through The Storm. Wishing you balance & well-being. ~Storm

Examining Life…

Life is impacting – it’s meant to be that way. As we examine the things that impact us the most, we’re making a wise choice – a healthy alternative.

Examining life is one of ways that we acknowledge and celebrate our joys – it’s also how we release our excess of concerns (worry).

We learn more about ourselves and life when we acknowledge it all! Examine life, the expected and the unexpected, the familiar and the unfamiliar…the fears, the pain, the anticipated as well as those things that disappoint – the ups and downs, the failures and the triumphs!!

Examine life, there’s more than meets the eye occurring.

Wishing you balance & well-being. ~Storm

Faith Is…

“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” ~Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

Faith is living hopeful through places where there seems to be little evidence of possibility taking place. As I walk through the challenges of my life – often without evidence of the anticipated & with visions FAR from view, I remind myself that this is indeed a faith walk. My WORK is that of REMAINING faithful to my convictions & philosophy for daily living through the SEEMINGLY blind spots.

“Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have WORKS, is dead…”~James 2:17 (NKJV)

OK – so faith, by way of my willing participation has me in the midst of – I DON’T KNOW…yet, I am CONFIDENT that a WORK of the Spirit is sharpening, sculpting & developing SOMETHING “other worldly” within me…I am sure of this.

I am not sure that having faith means that ALL of my heart’s desire will come into fruition. I don’t believe that EVERYTHING that I WANT/DESIRE is in DIVINE ALIGNMENT – nor do I think that I just made a FAITHLESS statement. I am – however, EXPERIENCING the CREATION of something GREATER than I ever imagined! I KEEP diving in clueless, willing to TRUST an invisible eternal God all the way!

Life is an AMAZING journey…full of unexpected unpredictable occurrences. Faith continues to convince me of her faithfulness!!

What about you, how’s your faith working?

Thank you for your visit. Live wise and live well. ~Storm
