Let Healing Take Its Place…

We have no room for fear, doubt, worry (over concern), a clogged or repressed subconscious, lack of sleep or anything else that separates us from peace of mind, body, spirit!!

Let healing take its place. Whether its spontaneously or revealed through increments of time, participate wisely and let healing take its place.

This is your life…live wise and live well. ~Storm

Alone…

I was among them
I was in their midst
yet, I was alone

At that moment
I realized…alone
What an awesome
reality – alone.
Quite liberating
A bit scary, but liberating

Alone, I am
solely present
Alone, I am
significant and alive

Alone is totally
separate from loneliness
loneliness places me
in isolation.

Alone gives me the gift
of my own voice,
the strength to be free and
the courage
to stand.

Alone is not without
regard for interdependence
Alone is the teacher that
awakens the learner.

Embrace being alone, it’s empowering.

Thank you for allowing Life Through The Storm to be a healthy part of your day.

Wishing you balance and well-being.
~Storm

For This, I Am Grateful

20150206-133426.jpg
I’ve learned to quieten my mind, to breathe in deeply and exhale for long periods of time. For this, I am grateful.

I cherish the ability to examine life before me…more intensely – intentionally. For this, I am grateful.

To reflect on what the present offers, is to partake in life’s richest portions. For this, I am grateful.

Disappointment and seeming loss has turned for my good. For this, I am grateful.

So much I would have overlooked, had I not experienced that which is often referred to as failure. For this, I am grateful.

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” ~2 Corinthians 4:18 (NIV)

Although it can be beneficial to share in the abundance of things – life and wealth exists beyond that which is seen, or that which is approved by others. For this, I am grateful.

Breathe…

Let’s breathe together and bring health of mind, body, spirit into present view. Deep breathing benefits your overall state of being!

In your comfortable place of quiet – relax your body…empty the contents of your mind. Inhale slowly, naturally and deeply through your nose with your full body engaged…counting to 7 – hold for 3…exhale through your mouth slowly and relaxed counting to 10.

The more you allow yourself to breathe deeply, the more you open your body, your mind and your spirit for clarity, peace and calm. With each breath, remind yourself of what really matters. Example – the importance of releasing stress from your body! The importance of releasing whatsoever is not within your charge to handle! The importance of releasing anything/anybody that dare distract you from entering into Divine rest…peace!

Again. Inhale slowly, naturally and deeply through your nose – full body engaged…counting to 7 – hold for 3…exhale through your mouth slowly and relaxed counting to 10. Repeat several times, and over and over throughout your day.

“Breathing affects your respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological, gastrointestinal, muscular, and psychic systems, and also has a general affect on your sleep, memory, ability to concentrate, and your energy levels.” ~Donna Farhi The Breathing Book

Reminders

I accept what’s mine to handle, I release all other concerns. I accept what’s mine to handle, I release all other concerns. I accept what’s mine to handle, I release all other concerns. I accept what’s mine to handle, I release all other concerns. You can always create your own mantras.

Your breath is invaluable, it brings peace & healing – use it wisely.

Live wise, live well and breathe deeply. ~Storm

Words…

Words play us. Words build us or destroy us.
Words tell us lies
Words fill our mouths with dirt
Words separate us.

Words make us feel alive
Words console our hearts
Words stir fond memories.

We permit words to define us,
to deceive us, or
to strengthen us.

Words are the songs of angels
Words are peace makers – tidings
of hope, renewal & possibility.

Words are life & death
Words are powerful.

Words are words –
yet, they create images,
thoughts, beliefs &
behavior.

Words reveal
much about the speakers.
Words are a matter
of choice.

Your words…have you
considered them?
