Stormie G. Steele is the author and founder of Life Through The Storm (books), a ministry encouraging spiritual & personal development into more than 100 countries around the world. She holds a doctorate in holistic life counseling.
Stormie has over 20 years experience as a broadcaster – lending her talents in both television and radio. Her voice has graced the airways – serving Christian, gospel, urban contemporary, smooth jazz and traditional jazz formats.
Steele’s love for the African drum (djembe) has blended with musical genres including: Worship and praise, contemporary Christian, inspirational, country, new age, African rhythms and adult contemporary.
Stormie is a motivational speaker/teacher, she enjoys drumming, exploring photography and teaching on spiritual and personal development.
Rev. Dr. J.V. Steele, Ph.DConsultant/Advisor/Holistic Counseling – J. V. Steele has over thirty five years of public and private professional experience in the fields of community counseling (alcohol & drug abuse), behavioral health counselor/therapist (children/adolescents/adults), human service, personal performance coaching, corporate training, programs development/management, higher education administration, teaching and ministry.
Steele is a published author, musician, BMI songwriter and practitioner of the holistic healing art of pranic healing.Dr. Steele served as the senior pastor of Unity Christian Church in Memphis, Tennessee from 2002 to 2007. He currently works with the State of Tennessee. His education includes a B.A. in Sociology, M.S. in Counseling and Ph.D. in Holistic Counseling Ministry.
Rev. Jim previously served as Unity Christian Church’s Senior Pastor, Stormie as First Lady.
Additionally, the ministering duo served as Interim Ministers/Sunday speakers at Unity Church of Practical Christianity in Cordova, TN-and as Interim Spiritual Leaders, Unity Christian Church, Memphis.
