Endurance…

Quite often, the thing that we do not want to endure, requires endurance. Trust me, there is a transformational reward.

God has a plan for those who are willing to trust Him every step of the way. So be encouraged, quieten yourself, let the work of the Lord be done…within you.

Live wise, live well and live whole.

Love…

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” ~1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)

I love inasmuch as I’ve come to recognize and accept love. Love heals…

Inevitably, the rhythm of love completes both recipient and giver. ~Stormie Steele

Unhealthy Cycles…

We must reckon with the unhealthy cycles that we create. That is not say that harsh and painful realities have no impact on us. Rather, no amount of reasons or excuses can justify long term cycles of unhealthy living, and no amount of self-condemnation, anger, pity or guilt can break those cycles.

As we learn to accept God’s Divine intervention of love, forgiveness, grace and mercy, we become equipped with understanding and the wisdom that is necessary to move forward. ~Stormie Steele

Plumb Lines…

Some of the “message seeds” I was given have set dormant for 30 plus years in journals, legal pads, word documents and scraps of all sort of paper.

After sharing a few of them with a dear friend, he reminded me that the “Cemetery is the richest place on earth; full of treasures in earthen vessel, and if I did not sow these “message seeds” soon that I would inadvertently add to the cemetery’s vast estate.”

His words became a tipping point for “Plumb Lines.”   -Jerry Mannery

Give Thanks…

“In everything give thanks” (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

The aforementioned is not the same as being thankful for everything. Rather – above and through it all…focus on that which is worthy of praise. “In everything give thanks”. ~Life Through The Storm
