Rest…

surrender now

As we learn to trust in God, we enter into a rest – one that quietens us from fear and anxiety’s rush.

When we rest…the mind, body and the spirit surrenders and accepts, all is in Divine order.

Have you found a place of rest?

Wishing you balance and well-being. ~ Stormie Steele

Don’t Hold Your Breath…

20140619-120918.jpgBreathe…don’t hold your breath – let it go. Inhale deeply…exhale deeply – slow & long.

Relax your body – head, shoulders, arms, thighs, legs & toes.

Pause, take a break – clear your mind …your spirit. Breathe…don’t hold your breath – let it go!

How deep is your breath, can you hear it?

Thank you for allowing Life Through The Storm to be a healthy part of your day. Live wise & live well. ~Storm

As I quieten myself, clarity appears as if out of no where. It was near all the time…right here.

The quiet centers me wherever I am.

Deep are my breaths…inhalations & exhalations. Cleansing, clearing, renewing – restoring.

I seize the time to quieten anxiety’s rush – I find peace.

Are you seizing time to welcome the quieten yourself?

Wishing you balance and well-being. ~Storm

Breathe…

Let’s breathe together and bring health of mind, body, spirit into present view. Deep breathing benefits your overall state of being!

In your comfortable place of quiet – relax your body…empty the contents of your mind. Inhale slowly, naturally and deeply through your nose with your full body engaged…counting to 7 – hold for 3…exhale through your mouth slowly and relaxed counting to 10.

The more you allow yourself to breathe deeply, the more you open your body, your mind and your spirit for clarity, peace and calm. With each breath, remind yourself of what really matters. Example – the importance of releasing stress from your body! The importance of releasing whatsoever is not within your charge to handle! The importance of releasing anything/anybody that dare distract you from entering into Divine rest…peace!

Again. Inhale slowly, naturally and deeply through your nose – full body engaged…counting to 7 – hold for 3…exhale through your mouth slowly and relaxed counting to 10. Repeat several times, and over and over throughout your day.

“Breathing affects your respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological, gastrointestinal, muscular, and psychic systems, and also has a general affect on your sleep, memory, ability to concentrate, and your energy levels.” ~Donna Farhi The Breathing Book

Reminders

I accept what’s mine to handle, I release all other concerns. I accept what’s mine to handle, I release all other concerns. I accept what’s mine to handle, I release all other concerns. I accept what’s mine to handle, I release all other concerns. You can always create your own mantras.

Your breath is invaluable, it brings peace & healing – use it wisely.

Live wise, live well and breathe deeply. ~Storm

Healing Wind…

Breathe in slowly, welcome the healing wind of your breath.

Slowly, naturally and relaxed.

The healing wind of your breath is very real. The healing wind of your breath is release. Can you hear it…can you feel it?

Remember…

Remember how unique you are, your uniqueness makes a world of difference.

Remember that you are worthy, you were born worthy. Your worth has never been about what others say or do – or don’t say, or do.

Remember that you’ve been given the privilege of choice, the blessing and birthright of choice…honor it! Determine to make wise use of it.

Remember that your role in this experience that we call life is quite significant! Never equate your significance to temporary stuff, or in comparison to others – you’re more than that!

Remember that your voice matters, it has always mattered. Let no experience convince you otherwise.

Remember to encourage yourself – to be aware of yourself, to accept yourself, to allow yourself to grow– to forgive yourself…to love yourself!

Remember to rest – to breathe deeply. Inhale slowly, naturally, deeply…exhale – relax. Remember to sleep. Let yourself recover, refresh…heal.

Remember, there is a God – Who sees all, knows all and is all!

Wishing you balance well-being. ~Storm

Rest…

Rest is essential as we move through daily living. Rest is that portal that paves way for clarity.

Rest prepares us to hear – assisting in the emptying of debris and concerns that ignite stress.

Rest is the commanding of inner peace, perspective and order.

Rest allows us to heal…to re-access and often, re-prioritize our approach towards particulars.

Rest permits us to maintain (as best as possible) optimum health…mind, body, spirit.

Whether we choose prayer, meditation, a nature hike, or simply kick back on some relaxing music…rest is the tool that refuels momentum!

Are you resting?

Wishing you balance and wellbeing. Storm
